G creeper gear?

No, the gears and their housing is in the way for the torque tube.

PANewt - not sure about your idea. I saw a caution in one of the posts above, that the low gear is not adequately supported for heavy duty work. Also, you'd need to change out the shifter  - the G service manual contains this language:
"The gear shift is the same as used on the Model "B-C", except, the guide plate is notched for the special low gear and the lever is shaped differently and guide pins are used to control lever."
 
But anything may be possible! It'd be great if it were useable in a heavy load situation for those of us who take their C's tractor pulling, but alas.......

One of my manuals shows/talks about bevel cut shift lever guide pins to be used when the G has the special low.

I am looking through old sales mailers. None of them have specifications, as they cover several models. Every mention of the G states speed as low as 3/4 mph. The mailer from July, 1951 states "comes complete with starter and lights: four forward speeds". dave

I have a 1949 AC G and it only has 3 forward speeds and 1 reverse, so would first be the creeper gear?

I just talked to my dad about this situation and he said the creeper gear was an option on G's for cultivating and stuff
                                                          Mine does not have one
