Did you brak the shank or the tooth. There are several types of teeth , pin on and crimp on as most common.
The Pin on use a wedge pin with a compressable rubber between two metal pins , this drives through tooth through the hole in shank.
frost teeth come in different designs also with single , double , or other configuration . They are hard but wear faster it seems than regular teeth.
If you broke the shnanl from bucket, there are weld on shank mounts that can be welded back . These come for the pin type tooth or the crimp type.

Shanks varry by mfg. On my 715 I ended up gpong to JD construction dealer as they had a large supply of many different brands to choose from.
Could try someone like Empire Bucket in Hudson WI to see what they stock .

Nope just cut off old , grind area clean, slip new weldment on and use good root pass and finish with 7018 . (E70S wire)
Are you using frost teeth or just teeth on bucket?
Many people use a piece of cutting edge with pockets to fit over teeth, this gives a cutting edge to grade with or make a smooth bottom trench. Blade can be couple feet bigger than bucket or same size, depending on use.

took the shank and chunk of the bucket out. Have pinned fost teeth. Will have to replace some of the bucket in that area. Don't want it to crack again in the heat effected area. Is there anything speciel about the steel in the bucket. |

Many buckets use AR steel plate in the mfg. but there are also the mild steel sheet units out there . On mine I welded wear strips to back and sides to slow wear on bucket it'self. I also added to the edge another piece of cutting blade to add some width as I dig 36" trench for drainfields.
In most cases no heat-treating is needed as the strain isnt that much or the shock load isn't constant. It is easy to break things though as you found out by overstressing one part. I bent one cylinder breaking a old footing by pounding on it with bucket, $ 500 lesson that i lerned not to do again.
