Series I and series II, no 3 point for either tractors. series II has been sitting for sometime. '63, and '67 year models
Went to go and look at a unstyled D JD on full steel that a friend told me about not far from home and noticed these boys out back on the same place. I think they can be bought due to the fact that the D was drug up to the road like it was for sale and they have been cleaning up junk iron recently. (looked to be within the month).

No body was home but we talked with a local down the road that happeded to be a nephew and he took us to look at them. Gonna try tomorrow to purchased them. Beer
Hope they'll sell for scrap value which is $190 a ton around here right now
What do you guys think they are worth with out knowing motor or drivetrain condition.
series 1 front end is wore out and clearly has issues. decent rear tires but not matching.

series 2 doesnt appear to be wore out but has been sitting for some time. hoods roughed up and tires have good tread but are probably shot as they look to be flat but might just be sunk in the sand.

Well, I think it is safe to say , they will be worth more than Iron price, since they are a very desired tractor.  That being said, they may not know what they have either.  There is no way to find out unless you talk to them, they may want a fair 3-4 grand a piece for them, or they may "think" they are worth 15K each.  Let's put it this way, I would pay around 3,000 to 3,500 for the incomplete one, and maybe up to 5 for the mostly complete one.  I may not get them for that price, but you never know.

Looks like they got some nice rear and front weights. Also the desirable underhood muffler for the D21 series I. Hope you can get them bought.

Update- Don't own them yet but my dad stopped by today and talked to the farmers wife. She said the 2 hasnt run in years and the series 1 runs but her grandsons decided that they were going to repaint it a couple of years ago so they tore it apart and thats as far as it got.
The grandsons also want to fix the D JD but she said they will probably never do any of it but they would get with them and see if they have lost interest in the 21's. Im hopin cash money makes 'em lose interestBig smile.
