My dad has one. He doesn't post on here often, but reads the forum daily. What are you looking for Austin? I can ask him then post it on here. Ryan |

Jay, I can't remember the actual title of it, but there is a book that has researched the "proper" placement of decals, among other things. When I talk to Dad, I will get the title. |

"Original ALLIS-CHALMERS 1933-1957" by Guy Fay
and Andy Kraushaar includes lots of information on
correctly restoring Allis-Chalmers tractors.
There are factory drawings as well as lots of pictures of
restored A-Cs showing the placement of decals.
I consider it a good supplement to the "bible",
"Allis-Chalmers Farm Equipment 1914-1985" by Norm
Swinford.

I once bought a correct policeman's pocket bible, (maybe this one??) in the hope it was thoroughly researched and low and behold right on the cover was a "correct" WD,,, with a Delco battery ignition conversion. Don't get me wrong, I am amung the least in correctness knowledge but come on guys, if your going to publish a manual for for the correct police to argue about at least you could get the obvious right!

The old A-C "Fast moving parts" catlog has a section dedicated to the decal that A-C offered.

I always like looking in original Allis equipment & tractor manuals also. If you study them close, I have found alot of info on correct position of parts and decal plasement. I use the bunch of the Allis books that you've metioned too. Have a good one BILL P
