I recently picked up an 800hr gas unit. Used ones are really becoming easy to find. I felt I got a real good price @ $5000. It is a 4x4, 540/3pt machine with the liquid Kawasaki, 60" deck and loader/weightbox. Diesel would have been great, but ya grab a deal when you find one =)
The loader can probably be adapted, like any other loader could, but would need the standard subframe fabrication and you would need to add a pump to run off your 616. The XL does well with its on board hydro, but I didnt think the powermax machines had that much output. I am not familiar with how the Kwikway hoe is powered or mounted, but sure would love to add one. I see the ocassional subcompact hoe, but rarely a Brantly. I would think buying a powermax Ark or Danco loader would be mucj cheaper than something from the XL, and they are pretty common. |

Loaders made to fit the AC 616-620-720/PowerMax may be more common, but sure hard to find, and very pricey. I'm still looking, tho!

Previous post should have been: Pulled up Craigs List, response was: "This posting has been deleted by author".
Based on above photo my initial opinion is pictured loader would fit or would require minor modifications to readily fit on your AC616 or my AC720; am I correct? Herb(GA)

The pictured loader is the earlier version of the ARK loader for Powermax tractors (and allis/wards equivalent). Its a bolt-and-go loader for a 616/720.
This is an ARK 600. |
