Need info on 262 budda motor. Friend bought one for dead weight pulls and motor needs overhauled. Looking for parts, rebuild kit, pistons sleeves. Any help would be appreciated.

He's the king of Buda diesels. When he's done with them they're right and run well. I live half way across the country from him and he helped with my 230 Buda. He has a shop and does engine rebuilds also. He just did a 230 in a 45 diesel and it sounds sweet.

I got a used set of 262 diesel pistons you could put in there and cut the tops to whatever comp ratio you want
