This would be the latest collection piece to the Allis Chalmers Collection of Redwood Valley Gravel.  Garwood model 511 cable scraper photo P4180022_zpsdd15a96b.jpg
We just picked this up yesterday morning. This is another piece of equipment we acquired from the Diener family in Lake county Ca. photo P4180028_zpsaf06c6b8.jpg
We were planing on using our septic tank boom truck with the help of the Dieners' Cat D7 to push it on. They couldn't get the D7 started so we managed without it. photo P4180034_zpsbddc8d59.jpg
They used this scraper in and around Lake County for many years in construction projects and walnut orchard development pulling it mostly with an AC HD 10 photo P4180038_zpsb80a7267.jpg
Garwood was very closely associated with AC back in the early years. Are plan is to restore this and pull it with an HD 9 or 11. photo P4180044_zpsd1bd8740.jpg
Names and faces of this project were, Dave &Cookie, Charlie Diener, Mel. Charlie still has the HD14 of his fathers past projects. photo P4180051_zps9da20c21.jpg
Truth be known this is the only Caterpilliar dozer we own.(it is a very, very nice dozer) Can't imagine how nice an 2006 HD11B would have been had AC continued. So help we could use on this project would be locating tires.  2-14:00 x 20 front and 4- 12:00 x 20 rear, if any one knows where there might be some that's all we need and Dave can start painting.

Nice piece there, Makes me wish I hadn't screwed up some years ago in not buying a hydraulic garwood scraper on an auction... they were trying for 300 bucks.

It would look good, behind that TW speed ace, I saw on here, a while ago.  A little anachronistic, but good...
