I know its been talked about before. but what is the easiest way to get them out without wrecking them. last time i welded a nut on them and used a slide hammer, but i wrecked the pins. any info appreciated.

From what I've heard, a few choice words might help if you soak em in kroil for a couple months ahead of time. Somebody talked about drilling and tapping I think. Other wise a gas axe will remove the inner most part and you drive it in till you can cut it off again.

The method I have used to remove the pin is to grind a little off the end of the pin to remove the case hardened surface, drill and tap either 3/8 NC or 7/16 NC thread. Use a grade 8 bolt and hard washer with a sleeve over the pin as a puller. Sometimes you have to drive it in and pull it out as far as you can and repeat until it loosens enough to pull it out. The pin can still be reused with this process.

personally I drilled and tapped them as stated above.  but if you don't want to fix the pins afterwards, A&I sells them brand new for less than $5.00 Canadian a piece

As CTucker said gas ax works I used 3/4 in cold rolled to make new pins, Mark
