Does anyone have any experience with the aluminum pulling carbs like Dan's Tractor Supplies has for sale in Ebay?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/ALLIS-CHALMERS-TRACTOR-CARBURETOR-MODEL-WC-WD-WF-ZENITH-PULLER-BIG-BORE-CARB-/331091810449?pt=BI_Heavy_Equipment_Parts&hash=item4d169c1891

Is there any advantage to these carbs? Can a stock carb be reworked to flow more gas/air?

check your manifold size to see if the larger hole size will mate up.

Talk to Steve @ B & B. He's an advertiser on this site and is close to you in NJ. He reworked a stock MS carb for one of our WC pullers and it works great and looked better than a new carb when it came back! Kip
