I'm impressed.  That almost makes those JD 2 cyl front weight sets look cheap....

WOW, Thats a very nice $$$$ wieght setup !!! Some things you would think will never be worth much go out rageously priced ; I  have ran across some things that collectors are after , buy it to turn a buck , used to only think orange, but than I just end up keeping it !!! Now Ill buy anything -any color -, kinda like the show American Pickers ; at least if its green or red the ol lady says -that wont stay here long !!!!

So.....are those weights so rare that $3,200 is reasonable to pay? Not trying to be smart - just seems like a ton (!) of money to pay for weights.

The weights were for the IH 1468/1568.  They were only an option with the V8 68' series and were not an option on the 66' series tractor.  Only in the Parts book for a 1468 or 1568.  There were a set on a running tractor for sale not to long ago and the fellow would only sell the whole tractor...wish I would have bought it, the tractor would have been a cheap buy i see now.
