I have noticed where a few tractors have removed the drawbar and just bolted a "D" ring the the drawbar cradle. Are there any pros or cons to not having the drawbar anchored to the factory built point? I guess I am asking about the real physics involved. Opinions?

If the hitch point is 20 inches high and 18 inches short and bolted absolutely solid, it makes no difference if it is connected to the seat or the belly of the torque housing.

I think it helps a lot because its much closer to the center of the rear axle that way and when I pulled my WC I first pulled off the drawbar and spun out but after trying it off the bale and no drawbar she would always lift and spin out because I gained much more down pull on the rear tires and got 4" closer to the rear end without the drawbar
