I have this AC D15 II that has factory 3-point, 6 hole front wheels and the serial number is not readable, engine serial 16733, there is no paint in the area where the serial number should be and I do know where they normally are. There is heavy pitting in the area. There never was a plate between the gauges and the panel. I have also noticed there is no belt pulley lever on top of the torque tube and don't know about the related gear on drive shaft inside.
I would like to find a time frame as to when this unit was made as this has to be close to the last of the series II.

I think the series II stated in 1963 and went to 67.

If you scrap some paint and sand here a bit you might find a number.

After you clean up that area rub it with some chalk. The numbers might show up better.
