I have a good set of firestone champion ground grip 12.4x28 tires on my wc. Should I even try to pull with such a small tire or just swap them out for some 14.9s? These tires look almost new with a little road wear on them, they seem pretty hard. Our track is sticky Ohio clay, when they wet it down good it eats up hp. I have seen several allis pull there with 38 on them and they all power out early. They are probably stock, how much hp. would I need with 38s and 3 mph? I would like to stay with 28s for the torque advantage, but can I compete with them? I plan on building mine with 45 crank, flat tops, 45 carb, vinson manifold. I hope I get 50-60hp. If I use 14.9s I think I will widen my factory wheels out to 15 inches, what do you guys think? JM
