I was wondering if anyone knows why the local New Holland dealer is selling AGCO parts. There not an AGCO dealer. But I noticed on their web site you can buy AGCO parts through their dealership if you first contact the nearest AGCO dealer and get a username and password to use on the New Holland web site. There's a Massey Fergusson dealer down the street so I was wondering why New Holland was selling parts for AGCO.

I would venture to say that they have a contract to one of the companies that AGCO has purchased over the years. We had this with a New Holland Dealer that is 50 mile from our dealership. They were a Gleaner dealer from way back, and still had a legal contract to carry and sell parts, the problem was that if you could give them a Agco Part number 90% of the time they could order it. That is what the username and password is for that the dealer asks for. Legally AGCO Can not cancel these dealers even though they are not selling any new AGCO Products.
