I  recently aquired a AC 616 has a 16.5 Onan ( CCKA-MS/20260 ser. 1271350214), 60" deck and 72" rear blade , "0" 3pt. hicth, wheel weights, hr meter 1233.0
Can anyone tell how I can find out when it was actually made, the serial number on the tractor is incomplete as there are hydraulic hose's over & through the tag. All I can make out is 18614 ? 51.
This unit has a half moon cut out in the hood on both sides, the cut out areas do have what appears to be factory trim, it leads me to believe it would have had a dual exhaust stack.  I have been trying to find any information I can on this 616.
Thank you
DGJJ

Try the Simple tractors web site at http://www.simpletractors.com/

Simplicity built AC L&G tractors. That site is the best place to start.

if the hood is cut, it certainly is not from the factory.  the previous owner may have cut it to fab a dual exhaust because the oem are so expensive.
