I'm assuming this pic was at the AC factory in Milwaukee, but I don't know that for sure. In any case, if you look closely at the writing on the coal tender behind the locomotive it says Allis Chalmers Mfg. Co. I really like this pic. Circa 1940

Hello all. New to the forum. I agree it looks like the back of the power station, but it's hard to tell. The plant changed over the years and today whats left around the power house is completely different.

Oh dose anyone remember the old AC train car that was floating around on the tracks by the power plant? I think maybe it was a condenser car. I haven't seen it for a few years. Maybe they scraped it. It was pretty cool.
