hay guys, yes, I put the question in the construction area, but since I use the lift to my plows and things, this area has more readers, maybe a quicker answer..

I have an A-C FPD50-24-2PS forklift, yesterday while lifting a dead car to remove tires, it left pinkish oil on the driveway.
So, can I use regular 'universal tractor oil' like my D-14s use or is it 'special' type ?
Man, there sure isn't much ground clearance to do maintenance on this beast !

Someone won't be happy until her car gets back into 'her' garage!

thanks
Jay

Use the universal hyd oil,  Im sure it just has a gear pump for a hyd pump, they are not real fussy on oil, just so long as there is oil to pump.    the pinkish thing may be it has water in it as moisture will turn red oil pink,    consider changing soon.  HTH

Update. Drained and replaced the creamy, pinky tranny fluid with fresh UTF and a new filter. It seems happy, out of the garage just in time to get the wife's ride in before getting hammered with wet, freezy white stuff.
I'll probably do it all again next month when I change the engine oil and filter.Fluids are cheap, finding another A-C forklift won't be !
Found out the lift hydraulics are separate and real clean.Another day that I learned something good.
