Waaaay too much grass to cut, rather have 'green side down' and grow veggies, especially with the cost of gas and food going up DAILY ! |

Gotta agree, waaaay too much grass and it's looks like it was already mowed the day before. I cut my grass like I cut my hair. You know when it been done. Why do it if no one notices.

Wow, and I thought picking corn at 6 MPH was fast?!?!? :-) Hey it is clear he has more money than I will ever have, and if that's how he wants his "yard" to look, it is clear he needs that mower, I couldn't imagine doing it with anything smaller.

That's a lot of grease zerks to take care of.The 20 something zerks on my 6' woods finish mower take long enough.I rather be mowing than greasing.I could not even turn that thing around in my yard.Thats a lot of blades to sharpen also.

12 caster wheels zirts, 8 drive shft zirts, 9 blade bearing hubs with zirts. By the time I could get it all regreased up, it would be time to mow again.

There's a sod grow about 6 miles from me that uses a 5 deck rig that looks like a dragonfly when folded up. They keep the grass cut but about a week before harvest they put a cut on it so it looks like a golf course.

this guy might want to wait a few days or a week before he mows the grass so he can tell where he has mowed.

When I was a kid we had a neighbor that mowed every other day unless it was raining. They had a comparable yard to this guy size wise. I remember Dad commenting about how he wore out several engines in a 1450 Cub Cadet.

Pull type rotary mower will be more cost effective? They mow the golf course rough with them.

Isn't the string just to lock or unlock the decks when you fold them up for transport? |

Just for the record that tractor is a Deere 4720, Turbo Diesel, 50 PTO HP, not your average garden tractor.

Yea, the guys around here with sod farms use orchard model kabota's to pull the mowers. They are little hotrods, 50 and 60hp models with full cabs and A/C. When I worked at the Ford/NH dealership about an hour from home I worked on alot of them cause of the blueberry farms out on the coast.
