We have rebuilt the control levers and relief valves on it and the three point lift still falls. I'm at a loss what to do next with my D19.

I have one doing the same thing, haven't torn into it yet, I was thinking a broken spring in the valve body, but since you rebuilt yours that must not be it. Please keep us posted on what you find. On mine, you raise it up like normal, put the lever in "hold", and it drops like it's in "lower" Same thing as yours??

Yes the same thing had one spring bent we replaced it and replaced seals and orings. So we are going to check a few other things this morning and see what we find.

Sounds like you need a new check ball and washer in the back of the stack.

Yup, needs a new check ball and washer. Its call a lift check, the parts and service manual do not do a very good job of telling you what it is or does. You have to split the control valve stack in half, there is a rod that sticks below on the top half, it has flats on it so you can get a wrench on it to unscrew it, there is a ball and seat in there. You can still buy the new seat, its a softer material. replace it and peen it with the ball to create a oil tight seat, put it back together, should be ok. You dont have to take the valve off the tractor to split it, I did mine outside on the grass in the shade-was a hot day yaknow!!! HTH

How is it that this just suddenly starts doing this. On mine one day it worked great--load stayed up fine, the next--won't hold up it's own arms?

There is a copper washer under the valve the seat is in. Replace the copper washer, then peen the ball in the as skip said but continue to tighten the valve to seat the copper washer as well as the ball. MACK

OK, I went to the AGCO web sit and looked up the parts bood for a D19. The lift check is called a "ball check assembly", its on the same page as the transport valve and relief valve. the page is titled " hydralic control valve control". The parts needed are 70921205 oring, 70923574 oring-these are for the cap and the fitting, aslo Id put in a 70240224 spring, the part that does the work is a 70239119 gasket, which if my memroy is good is the sealing washer the ball seats against. You need to peen the ball against the new gasket (sealing washer). Good luck guys
