D14 part needed

   Hoping that some one here can help. I'm looking for a good used or maybe new pinion shaft for a D14. Serial number of the tractor is prior to 19001. The original part number should be 228289.  The AGCO online parts book says that the new number should be  a gear kit # 70250243 and bearing assembly # 70241492. Any assistance would be appreciated.  I live in Benton Maine so a whole tractor for parts might be difficult to ship but I might consider trying to work something out if someone has just a transmission.
