Interesting, could you post pictures? I suppose it must have had something mounted on it... I don't know how you would use a tractor without a drawbar otherwise. Are there hydraulic outlets on it?

I saw a D14 that had no snap coupler once. I think it had plugs where the lift arm shaft would have gone through the housing. Seems to me there was something else missing too like maybe hydraulics or PTO. Was almost 20 years ago when I worked at Peterson Implement and I didn't pay all that much attention.

Saw a "base" D-17 at a show I think it belongs to Mayers. Had no Snap Coupler, no hydraulic pump, no tach, and I am pretty sure no PTO or power director. Was odd looking when you looked it over close.

Reeves/Holland Construction in Dublin Ga has or did for years, a D-17 with no hydraulics, no three point lift and no drawbar. They had a pintle hitch bolted onto a plate on the rear. All they ever used it for was pulling a sheep foot packer and a spraying unit with self contained pump set up.
My D-15 didnt have 3 pt or SC, pto or draw bar either. Hydraulics were run off a crank driven pump on the front for the backhoe and loader. |

Parted out a 170 without three point, seller claimed it used to be a state road mowing tractor. The hyd pump didn't have the section for the three point either.

Most "bare back " tractor were for industrial use. Mounted backhoe or other dedicated implement on them. Most had the shuttle shift on them and a front mounted hydraulic pump. Bob
