Just got to thinking about a promotional gig that Allis did, probably around the very late 60's, called the cab of the future. I kind of very vaguely remember hearing about it as a very young boy, and then read about it a few years ago, I think in a "plow peddler" article in OAN. What Allis did was to put an after market cab on a 190, and totally decked it out and dolled it up, and used it for promotional puposes at  shows. Wondering if anyone has any first hand iformation about this project, like what brand of cab they used and what all they did to the cab?  Thanks, Darrel

I don't know anything about this cab but I love stuff like this.... people trying to make something futuristic.

Like tomorrow land in disney world...  what people in 1969 thought the world would be like in 1980.

apparently stern voiced people wearing uniforms..  :-)

I hope someone comes up with something about your cab.

From the stories I have been told was that in the middle to late 70's, allis had put cameras in the 7000 series so you could watch your impliment without turning around. They also had talk about having auto stear.
