 I have been told I need to use Hytran in my D-19 Hyd. Then I was told no use Standard Hyd. Oil and then I was told Use 30 wieght Non-Det. I'm not sure what was used in it before I bought it. My D-17 I new what to use but the D-19 I have been told all kinds of things. So I figure I would get a straight answer from the forum.

Most all these old tractors used a straight weight Non detergent oil when new cause that is what they had. The hytran fluids are well suited for transmission, differential and hydraulics. I have used hytran in my WD45 for years. It is in everything but the engine and the final drives.
