I thought I would post some pics of my ongoing 1984 Dodge D250 restoration. Bed is now painted as well as the cab. Now its on to installing all the interior parts. I did get the air conditioner mounted, but the vacumn lines are shot so I need to see if I can find a set of them.
Used slip on rocker panel patches to fix the rockers and they worked great. Also ordered new door seals so maybe the wife and I can actually have a conversation while we are driving.

Did you have much rust to repair in the floor pan and cab corners? If so, please go into detail of the repair of those areas.
I have to do some on my 1983 F-250. |

Looks good Adam. That was when Dodge still made a good pickup also. Hope all turns out well. God Bless.

I love the old body style Dodges. I have a 1991 W150 that I guess is one of those things where you put more money in it than it's worth. But I still love it. I could say I'm restoring it because I've had to do alot to it. Done So Far
Still To Do

that red dodge is gonna be nice. i had an 83 d150 that was my baby. actually was totalled 3 times and brought it back to life twice. last time and a fire at my shop just did her in. I miss the simplicity of that truck. ran great with hot rodded 318 that would smoke a lot of 350's and good ride. last count think i had 260,000 miles on it. seeing your work, makes me wish i still had mine.
ac37 your grey dodge is sharp. wouldnt be ashamed of that ride at all. and for transmissions i had really good luck with all of mine. had dodges around since early seventies in trucks and into the forties and fifties in the family in cars.
as far as the old style being last of good dodges i dont know if i agree. dad had a 96 that had the magnum 5.2 and at 160k the only real issue he ever had was the steering always seemed a bit cushy. other than that would pull whatever we wanted. decent mileage, comfortable, and good looking. unfortunately his boss borrowed and totalled it.
currently i have an old style 71 sweptline that i am getting ready to do some restomodification to , but most of it will have to wait as i have a WD45 that needs some loving and hopefully paint by spring. and i have a 47 vac case i am in process of painting now.
love to see the orange allis and any dodge
cheers to you all.
