Well the 'contractor' finally cut and installed the stairs, landing and deck..... Notable 'features'... deck(porch) is 5 by 7 feet. He used 2 sheets of indoor plywood. Didn't bother to use my 5 by 9 sheet, outdoor 1" with PVC coating on both sides. BTW it slopes towards the house. BTW one outside stringer is 'floating', ie NOT screwed to beam,it's a foot away from it !.. stairs.picture this...from concrete walkway..2 steps up to landing, 2 steps up to porch, 1 step to doorway. According to my tapemeasure... 7 1/2, 7 5/8, 8, 7 5/8, 8, 7 1/2. Now I ain't a high price professional contractor BUT did build my basement stairs AND next door shop stairs, both same steps-landing-steps configuration and BOTH of them have the 'rises' ALL the same so I must have done something wrong twice ????
