Took some pics of both my CA's out yesterday. The 52 with the oversize tires is as it was bought. I have not touched it.
My 55 runs awesome but neither one is "pretty"

I'm still on the fence about painting the 55. I love nice shiny ones, but then started thinking do I want to erase 69 years of history and farmers touch ups?

Nice line-up. I think about doing one of those every year, just never get time to do it. Did some years back but the heard has expanded quite a bit since then! Maybe this fall after the crops are out?

I'd like to have more too, LOL I just had the Allis's and the Ford out yesterday, so figured I'd take out the little Massey's and get a group pic.

The one in the foreground in the first picture looks like how I imagine a new one would look coming off the dealer's lot.

Great pictures!

Thanks everyone. They're not the museum quality painted resto's I dream of, but I've done a bunch of mechanical work to them and they run really good. But they'll keep getting better as time goes on. I never stop tinkering with them. Just don't always have a lot time at this point in life.

Thanks for the pictures. Super nice looking MF. I think those CA's look pretty decent as they are. Certainly appear to have been reasonably cared for all their lives.
I have a red lawn tractor that came with chrome wheel covers. Was that an unusual option? Haven't seen many with them.

I wouldn't paint it, but that's my preference. Unless the paint is almost all gone, or someone put JD green on an AC tractor, I think they look better with older paint.
