Are there any Roto Baler folks on here? Got my WD45 hooked up to the Roto Baler I bought today. Everything runs nice and smooth, except the top set of belts don't turn. The roller turns, but the belts don't move, nothing gets hot or acts like it's slipping. The one picture is of a couple springs that were lying in the feeder when I bought it, I wonder if they might not have something to do with it.

A Roto-baler can teach you a complete repertoire of naughty language. If your baler has sat for a long while, throw some hay into it to start a bale and they should get turning.
If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits.
If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY

I had a whole thread about this topic last year. You can try some some belt dressing.

Run some hay up the conveyor they will start turning. I have baled over a half million bales the last 65 years, sometimes they don't start turning until the hay helps tighten the belts.

Mine always turned! WOW!  never heard of them not turning. I baled a lot with mine in the 10 years we did hay. Used a SMD Farmall on it all the time! Worked great!
