Enlighten me about the size of a Threshing Machine (not a Thrashing machine… that would be something else entirely)
For instance, a 22-36; no particular brand. The first number is the width of the cylinder, not the diameter, correct? The 2nd number is the one that causes a little confusion People in some discussions say that this number is the width of the separator or sieves. Others say this number is the diameter of the fan. I think you are right but it has been a long time since I had anything do with threshers. We had a George White #6. I think you are right tho. I think the first number is the width of cylinder and the second one is the body. Hope someone else can chime in and tell us.

It’s the width of the cylinder and width of the seperator area. I have a 22-36 machine and it doesn’t have a 36 inch diameter fan but the sieves and straw rack is 36 inch wide.
