My buddy is thinking of selling this all original D17 Series 3 diesel. It stayed on 1 farm until he bought it in 2017. Even though the farm changed hands, the tractor stayed on the farm. Word has it that the original owners used it as the main farm tractor for the first few years until the farm was sold. The second owner of the farm rarely used it, but always kept it inside. It does not have an hour meter, so hours are unknown, but I have always driven by that farm for the last 50 years - never saw it outside or doing any work in the field. Hand clutch has a good snap and the gear shift is not sloppy - does not jump out of gear either. The only thing it has had done recently was have the injector pump rebuilt. This thing is MINT. Unfortunately, I already have 2 Series 4s (1 diesel) and I have had an expensive year with the 45 diesel money pit and 8030 I have bought. He wants to see it go to a good home. If anyone is interested, send me a PM. Located east of Toronto, Ontario Canada. Around 6500 would probably buy it. Hard to find an all original tractor this clean. |

Looks to be a nice tractor. Someone will scoop that up quickly. A few more pictures on here may help out the sale.
