They have different part numbers, but the gasket set is the same and the early D17 used the same oil pump as the WD, so I'd think so. AaronSEIA

A D-17 gas oil pan is shaped inward on the right side to accept the starter right tight alongside the pan. A WD pan won't work in a D-17 chassis because of this.
