Looking for original suspension for a 185, and original seat if it's in good shape. Someone put one from a 7000 series on mine and it doesn't really fit right and the adjustment slide is rusted solid so would like to find an original. Thanks

Depending on the age of the tractor, the later ones did have a seat suspension and seat from a 7000 series cab tractor. The track easily got filled up with dirt to where they wouldn't adjust at all. I never cared for the seats positioning either as compared to old original seat track and suspension.

The only real change ever made to the old original design suspension/track was the lever to release it so the seat could slide up and down. The later suspensions had a handier lever to reach.

Well I've got a 74 and a 77 185 and the 77 is the one that appears to be a 7000 series seat/suspension. The 74 is original and much nicer to sit in/adjust, and is probably like the 180. I would be interested in either one of the 180 suspensions. Call or txt 319 290 five five 0 seven.
