Hello I have an old Allis-Chalmers GP-2 generator serial #0440967. The Briggs engine runs great. I was running it a few days ago and it was putting out about 117 volts. I ran it for about 4 hours and powered it down to add fuel. When I started it back up no power output. Could it be brushes? Does anyone know anything about these old generators? I would love to find a schematic of the alternator wiring. Thanks in advance Barry in Indiana barrykent1222@gmail.com |
