Hi all, pulled my left hand hydraulic filter just now and the inner bit the book calls the screen and valve assembly is missing completely (first time I've touched it)
There's an impression in the paper on the end of the filter matching the tabs for the anti drain valve so it looks like it sealed but definitely not right Curious has anyone got one from AGCO or will I be phoning wreckers? Matt |

Thanks, gonna make some calls see if I can find one.
Does the filter work at all with it missing? Seems like the fluid would flow straight through Matt |

No filtering at all. Straight thru to the power steering gear pump with whatever is in the oil.

For the benefit of future searches on the subject, part number 70271742 is the screen/bypass valve. Found one at a salvage yard off of a 7000 series powershift.
As the Doc says without it there is no filtering at all. |
