so neighbor drives his 2nd hand, 59 hour, 'hard starting' ARGO over for me to look at.....
hmm, 23HP B&S Vanguard engine. if you bypass the starter solenoid (screwdriver), nice...
so probably needs a new solenoid...

OK, WHERE's the 'engineer' who decided that using a gear clamp to secure the solenoid onto the starter was a 'good' idea ??  I want him here, NOW, to replace the solenoid !!!
There is NO way a normal human can do it.heck I can't even 'feel-find' the clamp screw.

OK, no big deal,if you're stuck in the bush, there's always the recoil start.... NOT. Same 'engineer' expect you to remove the 'firewall' ,fish your hand through a maze of SHARP mechanically things then pull the cord ??? I'd like a demonstration please !

At the end of the 3 hours , I had 2 suggestions(3 really, shhhh ) 1..keep long screwdriver IN the ARGO, so jump start when needed...... 2) spend 2 dayze this summer and rotate the recoil from 9oclock to 2oclock.

They may be 'cute' and 'useful' but NOT easy to work on.
