The 10th Anniversary "Heritage Tractor Adventure" will be held June 11-15, 2011 along the I&M Canal in North Central Illinois.  The event is lead by farm broadcaster Max Armstrong of Farm Progress Media and WGN & RFDTV partner of Orion Samuelson.  The route for 2011 is yet to be announced however the event is always in the area of the I&M Canal National Heritage Corridor.  Registration is $175 per tractor and $75 for a second driver.  Registrations received before November 30, 2010 receive a $25 discount off registration.  Information and registration is available at 1-866-6-TRACTOR or www.heritagetractoradventure.com

This is a very well supported ride with cooperation from state and local law enforcement to block crossroads, and excellent food at all stops.  Tractors are refueled each evening and fuel cost is included in your registration.  2010 saw representation from more than 10 states and 5 Canadian provinces.

Cool pics, Bertman. That M Farmall has a Tokheim aftermarket cab. They're pretty uncommon. The side and front openings has snaps for pieces of fitted canvas. That's the best pic of a restored one I've seen, Thank you.

Bertman,

Thanks for the pix!!!  On the first page of your pictures, the WD at the end of the second row is mine.  It's a 1950 converted to a 12 volt from 6V.  My wife gave it to me for my birthday three years ago.  Don't know if we will pass through Oglesby in 2011 yet but the excpectation is to go station-to-station as we have in the past, rather than base in one town.  I volunteer on the ride and will continue to post information here and in the "shows" section as it becomes available.  Thanks again for posting the pictures.

To say it rained on us the day we went to Mendota would be a monumental understatement.  It was four months ago and I'm still drying out.  Kudo's to Burtman for braving the weather to take the pictures.  I think Noah was building an ark up there somewhere.

Thanks again Burtman, I got some great words of thanks for you from the Heritage Corridoor Convention and Visitors Bureau, the sponsor of the ride.
