We have a John Deere 8520 (Ertl) peddle tractor w/JD trailer that is about 16 years old. The grandkids are driving cars now, so there is no interest in it.

My wife is having a garage sale next weekend, so we are thinking of putting the tractor and trailer in the garage sale. My question is what to ask for it. I looked in Ebay and they are asking in the $300 range, which I think is crazy.

Any idea what they are worth?

you might do better on FaceBook or Craigslist compared to who is going to back yard sales... but its possible .
Like them all, but love the "B"s.

New ones will be $400.00 or more and the trailer is at least $100.00 , I would ask at least $500.00 .  you need to find a collector to get a good price for it. Don't give it away .

Just to follow up.

We decided to ask $225 for it. It sold early the first day of the sale with no dickering about the price.

Well, I have a well used UMmmmmmm,,John Deere peddle tractor that I had restored for my Grandson. I posted some pics of it here some time ago  That little tractor just could not stay up with my Grandson!! LOL He broke one of the front wheels and the chain drive will need some assistance. If any one wants to "save" the tractor, and willing to pay S&H, it is yours for free.

You may have priced it too low, but if you are happy and the buyer is happy then everything is good. I have a WD45 pedal tractor in like new condition but I plan to hold on to it for a while.
Just an old country boy saved by the grace of God.
