190 gas has a 2800 gas from a combine , not sure which combine, it runs ok , but they never changed over the front cover plate so now the engine runs without a governor, like a combine. Can this hurt the engine to run without governor. the combine engine is a 1968 year. should i change front cover right away or can i run it some as it is. the throttle is makeshift connected to the carb. thanks for any help.
