I have about a 1/2 turn of the steering wheel loose on my WD. I do have it narrowed down on where it is starting from. The universal joint is OK, and I took the front inspection plate off the front end, and the worm gear looks fine with no major slop. I have it down to the lower end on my narrow front. What can I expect when I remove both tires and take the spindle off? Is this a keyway and key type connection? Thanks! Don |

There is a large keyway on the bottom and there is a big setscrew on the back side to tighten things up. YOu might try tightening that set screw first to see if that helps.
