In the process of doing a complete motor overhaul on my 160. ( I think it has a spun rod bearing ) Anyways since it is down for repairs I thought I'd do some other maintenance. Does anyone know who might be able to repair my tach ? I do not care so much about the fuel and temp gauges in the cluster, but would like a working tach. Lots of places online that do auto tachs but the few I've contacted  say no to a tractor tach, especially one from France. Any suggestions ?

Give Haim Zeevi a call, not sure about the 160 but he has repaired a D15 and my 190XT tach. Does excellent work. Let us know if he does. If he hasn’t done one you may suggest to send yours to him to see if he can fix it. It is a mechanical tach which is the only type he repairs. He just may not have had one sent to his shop before. Great guy, he will send it back to you if it can’t be repaired.

He also makes new tach cables, just like the factory one.
