Might be number 2
My plow is a 2 12 bottom trailer . I think the points are worn out . Won’t suck down in hard clay . Any one know a source for new points for this old plow ? I just enjoy using this plow from time to time but if I take it to Rantoul I’m not going to go there without making an effort to have it operated like I know it to do an excellent job.

You will need to know the exact bottom assembly number to get a part number for the shares. If you can find a number on any of the ground wearing parts that can be used to identify the bottom number. A #2 plow could have a number of different bottom assemblies on it. Refer to the Knowledge Base section; Plow parts 101.

If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits. If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY |

I'll agree that if you're going to try and plow at Rantoul at the Half Century of Progress show, you'll need good plowshares. That is some tough ground. I tried it once with only limited success.

thank you for the tip , I see guys with plows there that won’t go in the ground and I’m proud of these ac plows I got ,so it and I know what they are capable of. When I was a kid the old fellows in neiborhood. Would complement me on what nice job they would do .
Besides that I’m going to pull them with the 1924 Fordson I restored so it’s imperative that I have it dialed in for the show .
