I think it is an R model. I don't know if it had extra letters as the UDLX had.

Yet another great company that is no longer with us. Unless you want to count Farm Pro's attempt at MM implements.

The shape of the cab of the MM R reminds me of a late 40's early 50's Chevy pickup.

last year our local show hosted the MM collectors club and there was a pair like this there. the UDLX was serial #0001 and the guy only showed it for about 2 hours before leaving again. the R with factory cab was the feature tractor on the show button as well and was here again this year.

I was at the GOTO in Washington, KS many years ago (featured the A) and a local farmer brought the nicest UDLX I have seen, and I've seen a few.
We talked quite a while and I asked him how fast he had driven the UDLX and he said "40 MPH once". So I asked him how it handled. His response was "were you listening? I said once". Guess it didn't handle that well. Bob@allisdowneast |

This one was at the show in Newton, WI in 2008. It was a pretty nice restoration.

That is a UTI or UT industrial. This is a later model since it has the split block design engine. The cab on it isn't factory. There was a company that built cabs for these. I belive the company's name was Excel. Many UTI's Had LUll loaders mounted on them.

You are absolutely correct on the tractor, Matt. There was no data on the cab. Here's a view from the rear.
