Met a fellow at Sussex, Wisc. on sunday and he told me that there were only 10 gas powered golf carts made in 1966. I have a hard time believing this , has anyone on here have the total figures for the number of carts made.He also told me they were only made for 3 years. Help shed some light for me on these carts, as I do own one that is a 1966. Thanks Dave

How do you know that your's is  1966 model?  I'm unaware of any serial data on these.  Also it would be intersting to know where this fellow got his info.  Perhaps they only made 10 one year (but they made many more than that in total).

The guy that I talked to said that the 1965 models had the 7 hp kohler and the 1966 had the 8 hp kohler. That is what he told me I am just looking for information on them. Thanks Dave
