Swinford has no listing for a 545.  If its a 540, it's post 1979...HTHWink

From the cab style in your other post I'm guessing mid- 60s to early 70's.

I wonder if you call Minnpar if someone might have an idea of the year from the serial number.  It might be good if you have a picture of the tag.  The 545 manual on their site has a bit of serial number info but not really enough to help.  The cabs in that manual have the flat windshield which came after the split one like the machine in your post has, I believe.

I may give them a call and see if they can figure it out. Maybe serial number off motor could date it?

You can ask, but motor serial numbers usually don't work for that.

Ok I saw a post online about the 645 coming out in 65. It said the 545 came out the same year and was built until 71 until they rebadged it as a 605

Guy I'm buying it from didn't realize it was a allis chalmers. Said it was a fiat-allis and that it was a 1980. I'm guessing it's in the 60s for sure. I'm going to try minnpar maybe I can get a exact year.
