Tore down the chicken coop today. Got ran outa business ny those corperate chicken farms down in Georgia! No, not really. The building was built in 1951 and its battle with termites was finally lost. I intend to place a grain bin on the site and build my man cave inside
I still gots my A/C but it's clear out in the barn now.

A grain bin should hold up to termites.
Speaking of termites I’m hoping Nancy Peloseys termites be up soon🤣

Enjoy...if it is a man-cave, you'll have to insulate from heat and cold for sure... I made a shed making it a round top with the roof on one end and wall with door at the other. Took some work taking it apart and re-doing to make the round roof ... sorry dont have pics on this computer.....................

we have been thinking of taking a smaller old bin and relocating and making a hunting / camping cabin.
Like them all, but love the "B"s.

Les,
 Good to hear from you!
I see a very nice grain bin, man cave garage a year ago when I went to a guys house and picked up some rims. My biggest fear is not having a corner to lean stuff in!:)
Post some pictures. I did a demo on the vast warehouse last weekend. It was only 10 x 12 but contained what seemed like several dumpsters of stuff inside!
Good luck with your build.
Regards,
 Chris

A friend has a small Butler building he made his smithing shack outta.  Got the forge and auto hammer and other tools all worked in there.  Really nice setup.  A little tight, but outta the weather and in a steel building, not wood.

I've seen them cut in half and put on half walls to make sheds out of.

Well, Les I know how to post pics but my STUPID smart phone don't know how to get em onto this forum,,,I've tried so many different youtube methods and nuttin seems to work,,,I would love to post pics of my projects but it just ain't gonna happen with this STUPID phone,,,,,,

Anyway,, when you ready to post, remember you gots to "re-size" your pics before tryin to post em, several different programs on how to do that on youtube.
 1. look up at the top of the page and find the square icon that has a GREEN TREE in it and click on it.
2. It will open a window of all your pics you have previously posted, so you click on the one you want to post, click "Upload", it will show your pic, then click on OK and it should post it on the post you fixin to do,,,Easy as eatin homemade pie.
OH,,,and next time you go visit ole Shameless you can show HIM how easy it is so he can do it too,,,,, You can tell him I SAID SO,,!!!

Guys.
If the pics are on your phone my method is to text them to myself. It will resize the photo when sent. Download the photo to your picture file. This will be small enough to load on this site from your phone. HTH
