I think I came out on a better deal. I told them no to using the well and they settled on using the same ditch for both waterlines. In other words, I did a ditch for both of us. I didn't say it was a good deal |

Happy Birthday Jay! Sorry about making the comment about being over 60. I'm 71 and lucky to have a really good SIL. Smarter and probably harder working.

You sound like my in-laws! They were ready to take into the well line that runs to our chicken houses so they wouldn't have a water bill |

Happy Birthday Jay.I will shut up and not find some trivia like Chas to make you feel bad again. Just hoping you can slip a monkey wrench in the "contractors plans" , but other people don't know it was you.

If there are no other complications, low birth weight babies usually 'catch up' in their physical growth. In later life, however, people who were born smaller than average are more likely to develop diabetes, obesity, heart problems and "high blood pressure due to Step Son Contractors in their life".

Jay,
Happy Birthday! Would like to be able to make the situation into a positive one for you. But not sure exactly how to do that! That deck should look good stained! There that was the best I could do! Good luck. Regards, Chris

Well Jay, here's one way to look at it. Even if he manages to buy the lot, if you are over 60 years old, more then likely you will be dead and long gone years before he even gets a foundation built at the rate he works....

well at least the stairs are out, yeah middle of the yard, but OUT.... forgot to mention ,he took a DAY to dig ONE hole, 3+feet down, install a sonotube and 2 bags of concrete to set the ONE post... Now a normal contractor would have kept post LONG to become a support for the handrail. makes it strong and sturdy, tight ? he cut it short, like UNDER the floor joist.... that was 4 dayze ago.... Now he's trying to find 4by4 here to make posts for railing.... yup... trpl sigh....

What he said!!! But from here more interesting when materials are out of site because of "pretty". Oh do we need to lend you a ladder till your stairs are back up. I don't have much use for it as very hard to lift my feet that high at a time.
