the bulb part don't heat up much, but the base of them get so hot you can't hold onto them.

This is exactly what President Trump has been fighting against with China,,,or rather ,,,ALL of our trading partners all over the world. They buy our products, decide they want to copy it , they redesign it,, build it with their cheap labor, THEN sell the "new" product back to us by the millions at much lower price than we can produce it. Now I will say this,,,some of their products contain good improvements that make the products reliable and long lived, BUT,,,it ain't just China,,,every trading partner has been doing that to the USA for years,,,,OK,,,I'm done,,,,
