Is Barney taylor the best one to get a cam from, do they put out good power. Mine needs a little help. lol

alright thanks. Does anyone know how to find compression ratio. i have 4.125 flat top pistons. stock stroke

We put one in a WD puller had to change gear on oil pump though, must increase speed of pump a little but no difference felt in power. I think the only cam that is better is 175 cam.

measure how far down the piston is at tdc.  then use a compression calculator . to find out what it is. I think barneys camshaft is a little better suited for pulling than a 175 cam my opinion is based on talking with him and having one that was ground by the same grinder once.

I thought he was just talking about a regular D17 cam. ya,if it is reground for pulling definetly better.Ideal would be to have ground for your setup,rpm,etc.
