Why don't you put some of your excess money in that machine, instead of water, and dump about 10 feet of it right in my yard!
Oh well, congratulations on your win! Darrel |

How about you build a dome over Shameless head quarters. A big glass dome. Then run the heck out your "pretty" machine any time you have a hankering for "pretty". You turn that sucker on and the sun above and the "pretty" just floating down after you plaster the dome with all that wonderful "pretty"
The rest of us will live in the "new normal" of climate change without the long handles, and 14 layers. An another big pay off the "stockholders" don't get in unless you open the door.

Congrats on your good fortune! And I guarantee you the casino "security" has multiple pictures of you along with notes to keep an eye on you. Wonder if they would share those pictures on this Forum?

Congratulations! As they say about the lottery, you can't win if you don't play! I guess you are playing for the rest of us who don't. |

Hey John,,,,,while I do play the lottery,,,I don't like the casinos for chit,,,cause as much as I've spent there,,I ain't ever had a positive payday like ole Shameless is always havin,,,, There is a real nice casino on the Rez bout 120 miles from here,,and we used to go every 3-4 months and agree each would only get $50 to lose then we would go to the BIG buffet they have there,,,,,I would spend most of my time studing people and most would be losing their azz but still keep feeding the machines,,,!!! Can't figure that out. The wife would always Double her money and some times even Triple her money,,,,,BUT,,,,BUT never could put that back in her purse and go home,,,NOOOooooo,,,she'ld keep playin and like always eventually give it all back to them. Then be a crabby old spoil sport during the Buffet meal,,,,,, (and ole Joe would still have most of his $50,),,,,he, he, he,,,,,,,

We only play the slots. Usually only do 20 each. When we was on that cruise boat I won dang near 100. And then I quit. My Dad always said if you win money, quit or you'll just lose it all back! The wifee can sure pick good machines but then she loses it all back! Shameless will probably have a tap on the side of that new fridge!!

We took a road road trip out west way back in the sixties, and we passed thru Las Vegas. I had 3 silver dollars I had been saving for the trip, so I went in to the Golden Nugget and put the three into the dollar machine and hit the jackpot on the third one, 150$. That was a lot of money in those days. My wife wisely made me leave, with no more playing. It really made our vacation.

I bought one $2.00 scratch off ticked the day they first opened. I won a hundred. Which figured out to $98.00 I’ve never bought another. I’ve never darkened the door to a Casino and never will.

Thad just cause you go into a casino don't mean you have to spend money. You can stop and look around and use the mens room

The food is good at those buffets. When our aircrews went to Gulfport, MS to drop off or pickup an aircraft at depot repair we stayed at the casino hotel and ate at the buffet. Got a neighbor that went there every few months says he came out on the losing end but it was a cheap vacation because of the perks he got. free rooms, free meals, etc. Never played at a casino or bought a lottery ticket so I guess I will always be poor.

Joe, if you are talking about the casino near Reodoso, I was there 20 plus years ago with a bunch of farmers on a direct marketing conference tour. I believe the Apache tribe owns it. One of our guys won $800 and a woman from Ill. won $500. As the bus was pulling away, someone said "Looks like we did the scalping this time." Probably not too politically correct nowadays. Last time I was in Lost Wages, I took a roll of quarters and discovered there were no longer coin machines in the casinos. Was told the reason was it cost too much in handling all those coins with people hurting themselves picking up bags of money and more people taking sick days because of getting colds from the germs on the money. There are still some one arm bandits in the coin op laundry but didn't go to see.
