Still too wet here in the bottoms and more rain in store. May see it turn off too dry then will be scrambling to make anything grow.

The BTO's are all burying seed as fast as they can around here . The BTO my brother used to work for planted over 800 acres of soybeans 2 weeks ago . They claim the earlier they plant beans the better they do . They are experimenting to see how early they can get away with . My brother heard they want to eventually try and plant and harvest 2 bean crops in a year . I think they are crazy with the price of beans . They believe with the available varieties it is feasible . I am sure a late frost or early frost will bite them before long . I asked my brother how is their ground dry enough ? He says they farm all over the state
. They have dry ground somewhere . Google Dowson Farms Edited by Pat the Plumber CIL - 23 Apr 2019 at 1:19pm |
