My "new" D-19 has a wobbly clutch peddle. Took it part last night and the peddle hole is egged shaped particularly on the inside. The shaft is worn too. Can someone tell me the 
original dimensions of the peddle hole and shaft? What is the best fix when the hole is egg shaped?

i would think one could dril out the hole and install a bushing .. otherwise a new pedal ? sorry i dont know the specs

D17 & D19 clutch pedals should have two replaceable brass/bronze bushing.  I got a set from AGCO in 2006 for my D17 Series IV.  The are probably fairly expensive.  I don't have the dimensions off hand but it's probably a 1 inch shaft (ID) and 1 1/8 OD bushing.  Go to McMaster-Carr and I'm sure you can find generic ones easily for pretty cheap.  Look at your pedal closely and pull out what's left of the bushings and you can probably measure what's left.

Even if the shaft is worn, replacing the bushings will be a big help.  You have to split the tractor and get inside the PD housing to remove the shaft.  You'd then take it to a machine shop that does that kind of work to weld it up and turn it back down to dimensions.  Mike

I have a machine and fabrication shop fix all my clutch pedals.  Measure the shaft with calipers, then they can make and put a bushing in the pedal.  Makes a big difference!

We just got the old bushing out and put a piece of copper piping in there..
